so we have these super red couches, see?
and i have tons of time to think about decorating around them.
to remake old furniture to compliment.
to dumpster dive for treasures to enhance their awesomeness.
so my question to you is--- being the super-savy decor geniuses that you are--- what's the color scheme going to be?
what works & what doesn't?
share your mind's eye with me.

did you see any key pieces you would recommend looking for?
any advice on how to go about doing this on a tight budget?
anyone have a sewing machine and thread they don't use anymore? oh and some skillz that i could just pick up by osmosis?
you're the best, ya know?
p.s. decor craft posting to come... stay tuned.
switch up the pillows. pale yellow perhaps to soften the look... perhaps find a pretty patterned paper to change the shade of your cute table lamp (with glue or something, if you want to).
ReplyDeleteOr just add flowers. I feel like flowers make everything 100x better. The room is already really cute!!
Becky - I like reds and blacks, myself. But I also thought the pictures with lots of color were good. I guess you wouldn't want something that would tire the eyes, though. I think you have done a great job with your apartment already. Just my humble thoughts. =)
